Enrolments:

If you are moving to the area and are wanting to know more about our special little school, please do not hesitate to call, email or visit us. We will be more than willing to answer any questions and show you around. 

Transition to school: 

New entrants are encouraged to have at least 4 school visits before their 5th birthday to prepare them for school. If your child is 4 years old, please make sure you have emailed the Office to check that your child is on our ‘potential enrolments’ list. Once we have your details, we will contact you closer to the time via email with a letter outlining what school visits for your child will look like. We welcome any questions (big or small) that you may have. 

During school visits, students will;

• Learn class routines and systems 

• Establish friendships and relationships 

• Learn expectations e.g. how to sit on the mat

• Know where to put their things 

• Learn about our values 

• Participate in fun and engaging learning activities 

• Play on our playground and with some of our great equipment 

• Meet our staff and other students 

On the day of the school visit:

• Your child will need to bring something for morning tea and lunch.

• A change of clothes 

• Arrive from 8:30 am

• Sign in at the School Office

How to promote independence & self-regulation before School: 

• Having velcro or slip on shoes 

• Having a big school bag 

• Practising packing and unpacking their bag 

• Practising writing their name

What your child will need before coming to School: 

• A named drink bottle 

• Lunchbox and any cutlery needed for food

• School bag
